Individual Therapy

A Space to Get Curious About Yourself

Gain insight into the patterns shaping your thoughts, relationships, and everyday life—and create more choice in how you respond.

We Look Beyond What’s Happening on the Surface

I work through a family-systems lens, which means we’ll get curious not only about what’s happening now, but about the patterns that may be shaping it. We’ll look at where those patterns come from—often within your family of origin—and how they continue to show up in your relationships, your work, and the way you relate to yourself.

My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to offer perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and help you see patterns that can be difficult to recognize from within them.

Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re noticing and focus on what feels most meaningful to you.

There’s No One Reason to Come to Therapy

People come to individual therapy for many reasons. You may be navigating something difficult, noticing patterns you want to better understand, or simply wanting to know yourself and your relationships more deeply.

These are some of the things we may address in therapy:

  • Anxiety & Stress

  • Low Mood & Depression

  • Self-Esteem & Confidence

  • Life Transitions

  • Relationship Patterns

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Family Estrangement

What Working Together Looks Like

  • Start With What's Happening

We begin with what brings you in—what’s happening now, what feels difficult, and what you want to better understand. Rather than immediately trying to fix or change it, we get curious about your experience and what may be shaping it.

  • Understand the Patterns

Together, we look beneath the surface at the patterns that show up in your life and relationships. We’ll explore where they come from—including family and relational history—and how they continue to influence the way you think, relate, and respond today.

  • Create More Choice

As you begin to recognize your patterns more clearly, you have more choice in how you respond to them. We’ll work on noticing reactivity as it happens, considering different perspectives, and responding with greater awareness and intention.

  • Put Insight Into Practice

Therapy doesn’t stop with understanding. Over time, you begin to notice your patterns as they’re happening and experiment with responding differently—in your relationships, at work, and in everyday life. Small shifts practiced over time can create meaningful change.

Over time, you may begin to notice:

  • Greater awareness of your own patterns and reactivity

  • A deeper understanding of what may be driving your thoughts, feelings, and responses

  • More space between what happens and how you respond

  • Greater ability to recognize when old patterns are taking over

  • More choice in how you navigate relationships, stress, and conflict

  • A stronger sense of trust in your own judgment and decisions

You may know exactly what brings you here—or simply know that something feels ready to change.
